1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Kerna ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Kerna provides AI-powered tools to summarize text and generate study materials. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee the correctness of AI-generated content. You should always verify important information from your original source materials.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with the account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscriptions are processed by our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to their terms of service.

  • Refunds: We offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you are unhappy with the service, please contact support within 14 days of purchase.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard. Access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Uploading illegal, harmful, or malicious content.
  • Attempting to reverse engineer or exploit the API.
  • Sharing your account credentials with others (account sharing).

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Kerna, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
